Located in the heart of Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, NY, Pier 17 is a modern-day provider service organization working with hundreds of providers throughout the Tri-State area. While Pier 17 was started as a medical billing company more than 25 years ago, the growing demands of the healthcare industry have led Pier 17 to the forefront of healthcare administration. Today we offer an array of services, including provider credentialing, prior authorizations and eligibility verification, medical billing, revenue cycle management, and help with insurance audits and appeals.

Pier 17 is a family-owned business created by Inessa Sable in 1991 as a “living room” startup. Shortly after, her husband, Slava Sable, and daughter, Ilana Khandros, joined the team and grew the company to where it is today. With extensive experience and certifications in medical billing, coding, compliance, and healthcare practice management, our founders each bring their unique backgrounds and training to the Pier 17 staff and clients.
